Hypnotherapy is a form of psychotherapy used to create unconscious change in the patient by using hypnosis. Hypnosis is a subconscious process. Broadly speaking, hypnosis is a state of altered consciousness that occurs normally in every person just before he or she enters into a sleep state.

SE is an excellent therapeutic tool that can address trauma on a body level in a way that most of the conventional therapies can‚t do. By including the body in therapy, it fast tracks the processing of trauma for my clients.SE reads “body language” by working with physical symptoms, sensations and motor patterns in the present. TRE also address trauma on a body level. It initiates a discharge of the stored physical tension associated with the traumatic event. Tremoring is an inbuilt mechanisms

EMDR is used for individuals who have experience trauma that remains unresolved. When a traumatic or distressing experience occurs, it may overwhelm normal cognitive and neurological coping mechanisms. The memory and associated stimuli are inadequately processed and stored in an isolated memory network. The goal of EMDR therapy

is to process these distressing memories, reducing their lingering effects and allowing clients to develop more adaptive coping mechanisms. This is done by having clients recall distressing images while receiving one of several types of bilateral sensory input, including side to side eye movements.

EMDR is now recommended as one of the most effective treatments for trauma in the Practice Guidelines of the American Psychiatric Association.
